I am an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in hand Therapy. I have a post graduate diploma in Hand Therapy from the University of Pretoria and have been treating hand injuries for 8 years.

I have a passion for assisting people to relieve their hand pain by assessing and treating the cause of the pain and not just the symptoms.

Pain in your upper limb can have devastating effects on your daily function, including work and home activities, because you use your hands for everything you do and touch. Solving this problem and getting rid of the pain can give you the freedom to go about your normal day as before. I believe in a therapist-patient partnership to ensure that the problem is treated, giving you the opportunity to continue life as normal.

We treat traumatic injuries such as dislocating your finger in sport or falling and braking your wrist to repetitive strain injuries such as tennis elbow or a texting thumb. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other nerve compressions can also be treated conservatively and might be resolved without surgery.

My practice is located in Garsfontein, Pretoria, where I aim to successfully help people with any injury. My treatment consists of a multitude of different treatment techniques that include: splinting, active exercises, passive exercises adaptive ergonomics, pain and swelling relief, strengthening and sensory integration.
