What is energy healing.

There are many different forms of energy healing but, it refers to any practice that works on the subtle flow of energy throughout the body, to help restore health (both mental and physical) and a sense of balance.

I use a combination of the following with each session.

Reiki:
A popular and nourishing form of energy healing. It involves the gentle laying of hands, symbols and intention. Practitioners are a conduit for universal energy, which restores balance to the body, mind and spirit.

Many people trust in reiki to alleviate pain, stress and anxiety.

Chakra healing:
This type of healing aims to balance the flow of energy through your chakras, or energy centres.

We have seven main chakras, from the base of the spine to the top of the head. They are spinning wheels of light in the colours of the rainbow, which all have individual characteristics and defined locations. One of the most important factors in chakra work is balance.

Acupressure:
The application of pressure (as with the thumbs or fingertips) to the same discrete points on the body stimulated in acupuncture that is used for its therapeutic effects (such as the relief of tension or pain).

Hand reflexology:
A massage technique that puts pressure on various reflex points around your hands. The belief is that these points correlate to different body parts and that massaging the points can help to relieve symptoms in other areas of the body.
